Your data belongs to you. Export and deletion are built into every data type — that's Tenet #1.

Exporting from My Data
Sign in and open My Data. You'll see an overview of what the Hub stores for you — data points, connected apps, and past exports — plus your privacy shortcuts.
Pick JSON or CSV from the format selector next to the "Export My Data" button. JSON preserves the complete structure; CSV is ready for spreadsheets.
Click "Export My Data". The file is generated and downloaded to your device immediately — no email, no 30-day waiting period.
Open the file and spot-check it: confirm it opens in your target application, record counts look right, and a few entries match what you expect.
Which Format Should I Pick?
CSV
Comma-separated values, one row per record. Best for Excel, Google Sheets, or Numbers — pivot tables, charts, and quick filtering. Also friendly to accounting tools that import CSV.
JSON
The complete, structured export with nested relationships intact. Best for backups, migrating to another system, or processing with your own scripts and tools.
More Ways to Get Your Data
Per-Group Export
Need just one expense group? Open the group, go to its Settings tab, and click "Export Data" to download that group's full history — expenses, members, and settlements — as JSON.
Developer API
Building something? The Hub exposes a REST API, and the Developer Portal lets you register apps that access data with the user's consent — the same permission checks apply everywhere.
Deleting Your Data
The My Data page also contains the "Delete All Data" action. It permanently removes your data from the platform and cannot be undone — the page warns you before anything happens.
Export first. A JSON export taken right before deletion is your complete, portable copy of everything you stored.
