The Journey, Honestly Told
Where the CyberEco ecosystem is today, what we are building next, and where it leads. We use Now, Next, and Later instead of dates — because things ship when they are ready, not when a slide says so.
How to Read This Roadmap
This is a product roadmap, not a promise sheet. Now is what exists and what we are actively working on. Next is what we intend to start once Now is solid. Later is direction — real intent, zero code.
We deliberately avoid dates. Roadmaps with fake timelines erode trust, and trust is the only asset an ecosystem like this has. When something moves from Later to Next to Now, this page changes.
Never present planned apps as existing. Never promise dates we cannot keep. The roadmap earns trust by being boringly honest. CyberEco Operating Principle
The Journey
One live Hub → the first federated apps → a full ecosystem
The Hub is live: one account, expense splitting that works today, privacy controls, and full data export. The open-source data layer (types, auth, storage adapter, services) is published and tested. TradePilot — a trading journal and backtesting app — is being rebuilt on that foundation as the first federated app. Nestboard, a home and property management app, already runs in production as an independent product.
TradePilot connects to the ecosystem: shared identity with the Hub, its own storage, your data exportable from one place. Nestboard integration follows the same seams. The developer path gets smoother so building a CyberEco-compatible app becomes a weekend project, not a research effort. Proof, not promises: each app must be publicly usable before we call it done.
The wider portfolio — governance with Demos, family heritage with Somos, gardening with Plantopia, and the rest of the 33-app vision — built one honest release at a time, prioritized by what the community actually needs. Deeper privacy guarantees: encryption at rest, offline-first sync, and progressively less dependence on any single cloud provider.
The order matters more than the speed. A trustworthy Hub with one great app beats thirty landing pages with waitlists. Why We Sequence This Way
What You Can Use Today
No waitlists on this list — these work right now
The Hub
Create an account, manage your profile, control privacy settings, and export your data. The front door to everything that comes next.
Expense Splitting
Split costs with groups, track balances, and settle up — live inside the Hub today, carrying forward what JustSplit started.
The Open Data Layer
Published npm packages for identity, permissions, and storage-agnostic data — the foundation every future app shares. Open source, inspectable, tested.
Nestboard (Standalone)
Home and property management, in production with real users — currently independent of the Hub, with ecosystem integration planned.
What Changed From Earlier Plans
Earlier versions of our roadmap mapped thirty applications to specific months. We have retired that format. Building trustworthy software with a small team means sequencing ruthlessly: foundation first, one federated app proven end-to-end, then the portfolio.
The vision has not shrunk — the full portfolio still stands, and you can browse all of it on the solutions page with honest statuses. What changed is that we stopped attaching dates to dreams and started attaching proof to releases.
- Dates replaced with Now / Next / Later
- Every "Live" claim is verifiable — you can sign in and use it
- One app at a time proves the federation model before we scale it
- Community needs reorder the Later list, not internal enthusiasm
- Long-horizon ideas (tokens, P2P) stay in the icebox until they earn code
